The colloid mill is a kind of new-style wet amicron processing equipment which is applicable to homogenizing, emulsification, dispersing, blending, pulverization, grinding of various emulsions. Basic operating principle of this machine is to perform function of cutting, grinding and high-speed blending. Pulverization can be possible by relative motion of two dentiform surfaces, one of which rotates at high speed with another one being at rest. This process brings great cutting and friction force to materials that pass through between two dentiform surfaces. And at one time the materials can be effectively dispersed, emulsified, pulverized and homogenized under the effect of complicated forces like high-frequency shock and high-speed vortex.
JM--L Colloid Mill Series are made up of wheel head components, pedestal driving components and electromotor with characteristics of simple structure, small volume, light weight and convenient operation. Components that touch materials are all made of high quality stainless steel. Immobile and mobile grinding sections are the key components of this machine. The dentation of grinding section differs according to character of materials to be disposed. But stainless tool steel is selected as its raw material. Electromotor is specially designed according to colloid mill requirements. Water-retaining tray is installed above flanged cover of electromotor to avoid leakage.
