The squirrel cage crusher is a device that utilizes the impact between a fixed striking roller and suspended material to crush raw materials. During operation, the large and small rotors, driven by their respective drive devices, rotate at high speed in opposite directions. After entering the cage, the material collides with the striking roller on the high-speed rotating rotor and is discharged from the lower hopper after being crushed multiple times.
The structures of different types of squirrel cage crushers vary slightly. Generally speaking, squirrel cage crushers used in the food industry are composed of a frame, a transmission cover, a bearing seat, a body, a feed hopper, a stator, a rotor, blades, and a discharge hopper. Those used in mining, building materials, and other industries are mainly composed of an inner squirrel cage, an outer squirrel cage, a feed hopper, a shell, a pulley, an electric motor, and a bracket.

It is primarily suitable for crushing low-hardness materials. In the food industry, it can be used for crushing fruits and vegetables such as apples, pears, and tomatoes. In the brick-making industry, it can be used for fine crushing and blending of raw materials such as clay, gangue, and slag. Additionally, it can be used for medium crushing of organic fertilizers, slag, straw, and other materials in the fertilizer, feed, metallurgy, and other industries.
1、 The foundation must meet the requirement of 5 tons of operating weight.
2、 During the hoisting process, the hoisting ring frame should be fixed with a wire rope to ensure the balance of the equipment and not be carried by the cylinder.
3、 Adjust the support feet of the equipment rack, level with a spirit level after positioning, and fix the rack bolts.
4、 Check one by one whether each transmission part is flexible.
5、 Add the specified lubricating oil or grease to the bearing part or reducer.
6、 Check whether the components are firmly installed.
7、 After power-on, the equipment is tested separately, and the steering is shown on the steering sign of each transmission part. Reversal is strictly prohibited.
8、 The flushing water pump is strictly prohibited from running short of water, and the power supply is strictly prohibited from running without phase.
9、 Test run, and repeatedly try the electrical appliances and whether it is effective to start and stop safely.
10、 Cut off the power and clean the whole machine.
11、 Add water to test the machine.
12、 The test run shall not be less than 3 times idling, each time is 1 hour.
13、 When the inspection is correct again, the material can be officially put into continuous production.
1、Boot up
1） Clean up and wash all impurities in the equipment with hot water to keep the equipment clean and tidy;
2） Check whether all the rotors of the equipment are flexible and whether the bolts of each part are loose;
3）Dry the equipment for 30 minutes, check whether the electrical appliances and safety protection devices are sensitive, and after confirming that each part is normal, put the material into operation;
2、Shutdown and maintenance
1） Stop feeding before shutting down, and observe that there is no material in the water tank and the discharge hoist, turn off the discharge hoist, flushing pump and whirlpool air pump, and open the drain valve to drain the water;
2） Use clean water when cleaning the equipment, start the discharge hoist and rinse the chain plate (mesh belt) and water tank of the hoist with clean water, and turn off all power supplies after flushing;
3） After each shift, cleaning and maintenance must be performed to prevent the materials from fermenting and deterioration in the machine and the lubricating part from losing oil;
4） Clean the outside of the equipment and protect it with a plastic film cover when not in use for a long time;
5） Regularly check whether electrical appliances and safety protection devices are intact and sensitive;
6） Check the equipment regularly, and add grease (oil) to each lubrication part regularly;
Ø Reversal is strictly prohibited!

Ø It is strictly forbidden to flush the appliance or motor into water!
Ø All power is strictly prohibited to run without phase!
Ø It is strictly forbidden for hard foreign objects such as metals or stones to enter the equipment!
Ø It is strictly forbidden to run with the moving part!
Ø When the equipment is running, it is strictly forbidden to get close to the running parts to avoid injury!
